What is gematria code

Gematria is an esoteric system of assigning numerical values to the letters of a name, a word, or a phrase in order to unlock hidden meanings or revelations. The origins of Gematria can be traced back to ancient civilizations such as the Kabbalists and Greeks who used this system for study and meditation.

There are different types of Gematria calculations, but the most common is known as "Ordinal" Gematria. With Ordinal Gematria, each letter in the Hebrew alphabet corresponds to a number from one (א) to four hundred (ת). In addition, each number has its own meaning, so that when a phrase or name is translated into numbers using ordinal Gematria, it can reveal certain insights about the subject matter. For example, certain phrases might have religious significance if their numerical value matches up with that of an important biblical passage or verse.

Another type of Gematria calculation is known as "Reduced" Gematria. Instead of assigning a separate numerical value to each letter in the alphabet like with Ordinal gematria, Reduced gematria assigns only one value — the digital root — to each word or phrase. This process reduces the complexity of deciphering the message by simplifying it into just one single value.

Finally, there's also "Rational" Gematria which relies instead on symbolic interpretation rather than numerical values per se. Rational Gematria uses metaphorical associations between words and concepts in order to calculate meaning from these associations rather than merely counting numbers. For instance, by comparing two words which appear similar but have different meanings — such as "love" and "hate" — Rational gematrians are able to draw conclusions about the seriousness or urgency of an issue based on this comparison.
